With new allies come new worries so it’ll be interesting to see what happens going forward. I believe there are six books altogether so we’re about halfway through the series. Can’t wait to see what else we learn as Shara grows in power!

I loved how gritty, and honest, this book felt. Yes, there are shifters and sorcerers that aren’t something we encounter but the feelings and emotions explored in this book are very real to a lot of us.
