Though the loss of Ichigo’s father is discussed, overall, this is a very sweet and light-hearted read that had me giggling in joy and secondhand embarrassment.

Never have I related so fast to a manga. I mean imagine finding out you have to go but you’ll be given magic and you can just do your own thing since multiple saviors have been selected. Sounds like a dream!

we get more interactions with Jinshin and we learn more history of, some of, the residence of the palace.

I’m interested to see more of the lore and the backstory of both Melissa and Commander Hubert so I plan to read the next installment that comes out later this month [volume 2 set to release March 29th, 2022].

I love that each book had me wanting to know more and more about Maomao and also leaves me with so many questions!
