Although this book only really covers…maybe 4 or 5 days it packs a whole lot of story into that time. I look forward to continuing the series as we uncover more lore and history associated with vampire Queens and their Blood.

I’m really fascinated with the lore behind the origin of Vampires in this series and look forward to finding more about the history the authors created. At times the dialogue got a little cheesy between the two Blood and Shara but not so much that I needed to walk away.

The Problem with Playboys by: Karen Booth

This was such a fun read and at 214 pages it’s a perfect summer beach read. I’m interested to see what they uncover about Little Black Book as I jump into book two. 👀

I can’t wait until this book is released so you can all experience this swoon-worthy romance! Get ready to giggle, sigh, and have a permanent smile on your face.

This is one of those books you wish was longer, at only 112 pages you’re left desperately wanting more.

Cat’s Curse by: Kelley Heckart

As a big fan of historical retellings with a magical twist, I was excited to dive into Cat’s Curse. Having no previous knowledge of the Irish warlord Aedan mac Gabrain I was excited to see this story unfold.

My Brother’s Husband Vol 2 by: Gengoroh Tagame

I love that this series is set during the three weeks Mike visits Japan and how much, from that short trip, Yaichi is able to re-evaluate the way his reaction to his brother coming out when they were younger.

Ghost Reaper Girl Vol 1 by: Akissa Saiké

This was a fun introduction to a series! I look forward to seeing where the story goes!
