It still boggles my mind to think about the fact that although this is the third book only a few weeks have really passed since book one started. Within a few weeks, Shara finds out who she is, what she is, her family secrets, and so much more. Shara has been on a whirlwind of information and adventure as she continues to attract more attention, both good and bad.
I was happy to see Daire return to Shara and Rik’s good graces and see him start forming friendships and connections with some of the other Blood as well. The last book really had me worried that we were going to lose some of Daire with the addition of new Blood so I was happy that book three proves those thoughts wrong.
With new allies come new worries so it’ll be interesting to see what happens going forward. I believe there are six books altogether so we’re about halfway through the series. Can’t wait to see what else we learn as Shara grows in power!
