Things Good Girls Don’t Do: Codi Gary

” Good girls don’t steal.

Good girls don’t visit sex shops.

Good girls don’t have one-night stands.

For Katie Conners, being a good girl just isn’t worth it anymore. It used to mean getting the life she always wanted. But that was before she got dumped and her ex got engaged to his rebound. So, after a bad day and one too many mojitos, Katie starts making a list of things a girl like her would never do, not in a million years . . .

As a tattoo artist with a monster motorcycle, Chase Trepasso isn’t the kind of guy you bring home to mom and dad.

And when he finds Katie’s list in a bar, he’s more than happy to help her check off a few items. Especially the ones on the naughtier side . . .

Katie’s more than tempted by Chase’s offer, as long as they keep things uncomplicated. But as they spend more time together, she may just wind up breaking the most important rule of all: Good girls don’t fall in love with bad boys.

Today our family took a drive to the beach…so I knew I needed to grab a good romance to read while we got some sun and Codi did not disappoint me. Small town romance between the town “good girl” and the, still new to town, perceived bad boy (who’s really just a big cinnamon roll!)…and I was hooked!

I swear the entire time I was reading this book I had a cheesy smile on my face…I just loved both the MCs so much!

Katie who was raised to be a “good girl” always polite and never being disruptive…who’s tired of not speaking her mind and doing all the things she wants to. All her life she’d bit her tongue and smiled never wanting to cause any issues…but living like that is starting to really upset her. Why does she always have to do what others expect from her?

Chase, a man who people only see as a tattoo artist which means, of course, he’s bad news…as a kid he was the boy from the wrong side of the tracks and he’s never quite been able to shed that perception. Chase doesn’t care what others think of him and he’s certainly not looking for any kind of commitment…he learned long ago that love hurt.

Watching these two’s attractions grow into friendship and more was so good! Both Katie and Chase can see the other for who they really are and just want others to see what they see.

If you’re looking for a sweet small-town romance between the town “good girl” and a man that looks like trouble but is really a cinnamon roll…you need to get your hands on this book!

Published by Noelle Loves Books

Growing up, Japanese and Indigenous, it was hard to find books that showcased stories and worlds that accurately portrayed Noelle’s experiences. Fantasy quickly became her main love, as you could really be anyone, anywhere. As the years went on, and technology grew, Noelle was finally able to see more stories and authors that looked and felt like her. Noelle is open to all genre’s though she can mostly be found reading own voice, fantasy, and romance. Ratings: 5 Stars: Completely blew me away 4 Stars: Loved the story but didn't feel completely blown away by it 3 Stars: Liked the overall concept of the story but either had poor execution, had a lot of plot holes, or was written poorly 2 Stars: I struggled to understand the plot, poorly written, or just had really unlikeable characters along with a poor writing 1 Star: Horribly written, major plot holes, or extremely unlikeable characters and plots.
